Hamilton 79434 PRP-X100 HPLC Column, 10 Micron Particle Size, Anion Exchange, 100 Angstrom Pore Size, 150 x 4.1mm, Stainless Steel
Hamilton 79434 PRP-X100 HPLC Column, 10 Micron Particle Size, Anion Exchange, 100 Angstrom Pore Size, 150 x 4.1mm, Stainless Steel
The Hamilton 79434 PRP-X100 HPLC column has stainless-steel hardware and a PS- DVB polymer with trimethylammonium exchanger material type for anion-exchange absorption chromatography of organic acids and organic and inorganic anions and arsenic species. The stainless-steel hardware prevents particulates and highly adsorptive compounds from reaching the column. PS-DVB polymer columns resist chemical attack from organic solvents and aqueous buffers, which provides a longer life span as opposed to silica-based columns. PS-DVB supports are cross-linked to prevent shrinking and swelling, providing pressure stability up to 5,000 psi. The column has an organic and inorganic anion compound classification with mobile phase limits of 1 to 13 pH, and 0 to 100% aqueous, organic modifier. The column has a 0.19 mEq/g (milli- equivalent/gram) exchange rate, a 100-angstrom pore size, and filters 10-micron particles. It is 150mm long, and has a 4.1mm inside diameter (ID). HPLC columns are used with chromatography systems to perform high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) on a variety of organic and inorganic samples, including DNA, peptides, steroids, and metals. Hamilton Company manufactures liquid handling, process analytics, robotics, and automated storage solutions products for the life science and biotechnology industries. The company, founded in 1953, is headquartered in Reno, NV.
