This board has a\r\n5-position selector pot built in, with \"true bypass\" and then four levels of\r\ndistortion effects. This circuit has been built to simulate classic\r\n\"overdrive\"-style tones, and it is like having four of the best known\r\noverdrive pedal and tube amp tones built right into your guitar or amp! This\r\nboard is powered by a 9-volt battery, and the battery connector is included\r\n(though the battery is not!). An onboard trim pot allows you to adjust the\r\ngain - you can even pop this off and wire in a panel-mount gain pot if you\r\nwant for even more control! Please see the board diagram and wiring diagram\r\nphotos for an idea of how to wire up this board. We include a 2-page guide\r\nwith each of these boards to help you get going on getting it wired up. Please\r\nnote that if you are building this board into an amplifier, it should go\r\nBEFORE the amp circuit, as shown in the wiring diagram. These work fine with\r\nour Artec SDA-T amp boards, but you should be aware that in our testing\r\nPosition 5\/Heavy Metal on this board is just too much for the SDA-T amp board\r\nand isn't really usable. However, the other 3 effects sound great!
