Hodge swabs are regularly recommended by\r\nrepairmen for optimum care of your instrument. The oboe swabs clean the entire\r\ninstrument fully assembled. This long version is the length of the fully\r\nassembled instrument so one can pull the swab back and forth. They have a\r\nsafety cord on the back end, so that if there were a knot in one and it got\r\nstuck, it could be pulled back out the way it went in.
