A rotary encoder has\nalso been added to make parameter adjustment quick and painless. The color LCD\ndisplay and microcontroller are now mounted on the same board (mainboard) to\navoid using inter-board pin-headers. The analog channel is on a separate\ndaughterboard PCB to provide better separation between the analog and digital\nportions of the design. Without the analog daughterboard the mainboard is\nactually a general purpose control board that can be used in many other\napplications. Aside from a few through-hole components, the mainboard is fully\nassembled. It is also factory-tested before shipment to ensure your kit will\nfunction as expected.
