By accessing or using SoundStore (“SoundStore”, “we”, “us”, “our”) or by purchasing products through our assisted purchasing and forwarding services, you (“Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

1. Nature of Service

1.1 Assisted Purchasing & Forwarding Model

SoundStore provides an international assisted purchasing and logistics service. By using our services, you authorise us to:

• Purchase products on your behalf from independent third-party retailers, suppliers, and marketplaces (“Third-Party Sellers”); and
• Arrange international shipping, handling, and delivery to your nominated address.

SoundStore is not the manufacturer, retailer, or original seller of the goods.

1.2 Scope of Responsibility

Accordingly, SoundStore:

• Does not manufacture, design, or certify any products;
• Does not guarantee product quality, safety, legality, or suitability for purpose;
• Is not responsible for inaccuracies, defects, or misrepresentations made by Third-Party Sellers.

1.3 Service Role

Our role is strictly limited to:

• Executing your purchase instructions;
• Facilitating secure payment to Third-Party Sellers;
• Coordinating logistics, shipping, and delivery through our global network.

2. Product Quality, Warranties & Liability

2.1 No Product Warranty

All goods are supplied by Third-Party Sellers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoundStore makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for purpose
• Accuracy of product descriptions
• Compliance with local regulations

2.2 Third-Party Responsibility

All warranties, guarantees, and after-sales support remain solely with the original seller or manufacturer. Customers must direct all product-related claims accordingly.

2.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• SoundStore shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from product use or performance;
• Our total liability is strictly limited to the service fees paid for the relevant order.

3. Refunds & Returns

3.1 Products

As SoundStore is not the seller of goods, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for products. All such requests must be made directly with the Third-Party Seller.

3.2 Service Fees

Service fees are non-refundable except where:

• Required by applicable law; or
• A verified service failure has occurred on our part.

4. Orders, Payment & Ownership

4.1 Order Accuracy

Orders are processed strictly based on the information you provide. SoundStore is not responsible for errors due to incomplete or incorrect details.

4.2 Transfer of Ownership

Ownership of goods transfers directly from the Third-Party Seller to you at the time of purchase. SoundStore does not take title at any stage.

4.3 Product Availability

If an item becomes unavailable after purchase:

• You will be notified promptly;
• A refund will be issued for the product cost (excluding service fees).

4.4 Payment Terms

Full payment is required before any purchase or shipping activity is initiated.

5. Delivery & Risk

5.1 Delivery Timeframes

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:

• Carrier operations
• Customs processing
• External disruptions beyond our control

5.2 Transfer of Risk

Risk in the goods passes to you once the item is:

• Dispatched by the Third-Party Seller; or
• Handed over to the shipping carrier.

5.3 Delivery Information

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. SoundStore is not liable for:

• Lost shipments
• Delays
• Additional costs due to incorrect information

5.4 Logistics Network

SoundStore utilises a global network of distribution centres and logistics partners. Orders may be dispatched from Asia, Europe, or North America, depending on availability, and are shipped via reputable carriers with tracking.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

6.1 Importer of Record

For international shipments, you act as the importer of record and are responsible for compliance with all local laws and regulations.

6.2 Duties & Taxes

All customs duties, GST/VAT, import taxes, and clearance fees:

• Are not included in our pricing;
• Must be paid directly to the relevant authority or courier.

6.3 Customs Delays & Refusals

SoundStore is not responsible for:

• Customs delays or inspections;
• Additional fees imposed by authorities;
• Shipments refused due to unpaid duties or taxes.

If a shipment is abandoned due to non-payment, no refund will be provided.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SoundStore shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, business interruption, or data loss;
• Our liability is limited to exercising reasonable care in providing our services;
• Total liability shall not exceed the service fees paid for the relevant order.

8. General Provisions

8.1 Currency & Pricing

Prices may be displayed in USD, AUD, EUR, JPY, or other local currencies based on prevailing USD exchange rates. All prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, and governmental charges unless otherwise stated.

8.2 Order Acceptance & Cancellation

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at any time, including in cases of:

• Suspected fraud
• Pricing or system errors
• Payment issues
• Product unavailability

8.3 Accuracy of Information

All website content is provided in good faith. However, SoundStore does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of product listings, descriptions, or other information.

8.4 Force Majeure

SoundStore shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• War or civil unrest
• Industrial disputes
• Global supply chain disruptions

9. Disclaimer

SoundStore acts solely as your authorised purchasing and logistics provider.

We are not:

• The seller
• The manufacturer
• The legal importer of the goods

We accept no responsibility for the quality, legality, safety, or performance of products supplied by Third-Party Sellers.
