Additionally, the hardened\nantistatic top-layer is water repellent, stain and scratch resistant, and\ncleans easily when smudges or fingerprints are introduced to the surface. The\nnew FUSION Antistatic professional filters are made in Japan using hand\nselected silicates that are carefully smelted and blended to produce high\nperformance optical glass. Hoya then uses extreme care and precision to apply\nthe improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula which eliminates or greatly\nreduces reflections on the surface of the glass, resulting in very high light\ntransmission rates. This means that the filter has virtually no effect on the\ncolour balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image. The FUSION Protector\nfilters feature a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile aluminium frame to house\nthe glass.
