The Esperto reed uses a variation of the French cut made from a thicker blank that produces a fuller tone with more projection then the Venuto. They are recommended for players that use a long facing mouthpiece Eastman Esperto Reeds are crafted from premium select French cane. Esperto Reeds begin with the largest available cane so that the blank used incorporates the best part of the cane into the most important parts of the finished reed. Each handcrafted Esperto Reed is selected for its straight grain and consistent measurements from heel to tip. Eastman Double reeds have established themselves as the leader in quality double reeds at unaffordable price. Each reed is handcrafted to exacting standards from the finest cane producing a rich sound that is refined and has excellent control. Features High domed vamp which has more wood in the heart creating resistance, giving control and center to the sound Relatively thin tip.
