The LP-15\r\npickups are the smallest, thinnest, lightest, and lowest profile soundboard\r\npickups available. Built using a new patent pending process, they are less\r\nthan one sixteenth of an inch thick at only 0.049\" (1.25mm). The pickup sensor\r\nis extremely light in weight (weighing less than 2 grams) and does not inhibit\r\nsoundboard movement or vibration. The LP-15 is like a super utility pickup -\r\nyou can use it on just about anything with a soundboard, such as a guitar,\r\nmandolin, violin, ukulele, etc. The Schatten LP-15 Insider is designed for\r\ninternal mounting, and includes a prewired high quality TRSS endpin jack with\r\nan integrated strap button. A 1\/2\" hole is required for mounting the endpin\r\njack, no soldering required. The LP-15 sensor attaches to the soundboard using\r\neither the included VHB double-sided adhesive tape for a permanent\r\ninstallation, or using the included high-tack acoustic putty for a non-\r\npermanent installation. This pickup has been designed to operate properly and\r\nsound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any 'normal' amp\r\n(guitar amp, bass amp, etc.). As with any pickup, the sound can be further\r\nenhanced with an outboard preamp.
