The unofficial drum of Brazil, the Pandeiro is commonly used in samba, choro and coco, but also in jazz and funk. The extremely versatile instrument is sometimes mounted like a snare drum. The shells are constructed of high- strength ABS for maximum impact and durability. The drum features a synthetic head for improved durability, brushed nickel hardware, and five sets of Pandeiro jingles and six tuning screws.
